Já andava a namorar esta caixa há meses. "Nuggets" é a reedição de uma colectânea editada em 1972, pela Elektra, onde Lenny Kaye, que viria a ser guitarrista do Patti Smith Group, reúnia o melhor do rock de garagem da segunda metade da década de 60. The Electric Prunes, The Standells e muitos outros projectos que ficaram esquecidos com o passar dos anos. Mas esta reedição, em formato de caixa, da Rhino Records, é muito mais. A edição original do que antes era um LP duplo fica restrita ao primeiro CD. Depois há três outros com ainda mais música de bandas começadas por "The...".
